Accessibility Statement

We welcome all guests at our hotel. Including guests with an impairment which could include mobility, sight, hearing and learning disabilities.

This access statement does not contain personal opinions as to our suitability for those with access needs, but aims to accurately describe the facilities and services that we offer all our guests/visitors.

Before You Arrive

The nearest railway station is Weston-super-Mare train station, which is 0.5 miles away, and takes approximately 5 minutes by car.

It is recommended that you discuss your requirements with our reservations team at the time of booking to ensure the most suitable room for your needs is allocated to you.

Car Parking and Arrival

Limited car parking is available at the front of the property.

The hotel should be accessed via the main entrance or can be accessed by prior arrangement through the breakfast lounge entrance at the rear of the hotel.

The doors from the front car park/drop off area have two steps, but a ramp is also laid out to the right of the steps.

Access to Reception is available on the ground floor level within the main entrance to the hotel.

Reception

The reception desk is situated inside the main entrance, which is level throughout. Reception has a carpeted floor.

Public Areas

We have a lounge and bar which are located on the first floor, but can be accessed via the lift adjacent to the reception desk. This room has a mixture of banquet seating, sofas and chairs with low tables.

Lighting is natural daylight and overhead lighting. Accessible toilets are also located on the ground and first floors

Dining

The breakfast lounge is situated on ground level and is accessible from the reception area.

The room has traditional restaurant tables and comfortable seating. Chairs without arms can be provided.

We are able to cater for various dietary requirements –please speak to the staff on duty.

Lighting is natural daylight and high-level wall lighting. The flooring is laminate.

Accommodation

We have 18 bedrooms throughout the hotel, situated on the first, second and third floor. Bedrooms and bathrooms are a mixture of bright light rooms and cosy darker rooms. We are happy to provide additional light if required.

We have two bedrooms equipped with lifts. Bedroom one allows the occupier to be transferred to the entrance of the bathroom. Bedroom two allows the occupier to be transferred from bed to the shower room.

Bedroom flooring is laminate in the three of the bedrooms, two of which are equipped with lifts, the remainder have a short pile carpet.

All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with anti-slip flooring. Rubber anti-slip bath mats can be provided in the bathrooms upon request.

Additional Information

The fire alarm system uses bells. We are able to provide assistance if you make us aware of this requirement.

Our Manager on Duty will be made aware of any guests that require assistance in the event of an emergency evacuation.

We would be happy to provide a large print version of this accessibility statement or our menu should this be required, please inform us upon making your reservation.

Should any medication require refrigeration, this is not a problem; however please make the reception team aware of this at the time of booking.

Please inform us of any dietary requirements, intolerances or preferences that you have.

If you would like the evacuation procedures explained to you at the time of checking in, please request this.

Should any measurements of any sections of the building be required including corridor lengths, door widths, toilet heights etc, we would be happy to provide these upon request.
