The Beach Wellness gym is open for both guest and community member use, as well as offering a timetable of fitness classes.
Booking is essential for all services.

The Beach Wellness in Minehead, West Somerset, offers clean facilities and professional expert health advice, for all ages and abilities and is funded and staffed by Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership (SASP).
We first opened in 2016 in partnership with YMCA at The Beach Hotel, with the aim of encouraging activity in adults of all ages across Minehead and West Somerset. Our vision has always been to be inclusive to our whole community, whilst still supporting you in a comfortable, friendly environment to reach your own individual wellness goals.
We are so proud that our staff have decades of experience between them! We have always been much more than just a gym, and are now truly embracing our holistic approach to your health and happiness.
We offer
– A varied range of friendly, sociable classes including Yoga, Gentle Pilates, Spin Fit, Zumba, Dance Fit and Women’s Gym
– Gym and Fitness Suite, with clean, modern, unintimidating equipment and friendly environment, including treadmills, exercise bikes, resistance machines, lighter free weights, cross trainer and rowers
– Highly-qualified, high-results ProActive Physical Activity on Referral scheme, for a safe, supervised introduction to fitness, for clients with long-term health conditions, referred to us by a West Somerset GP surgery
Costs
Full membership of £39 per month, with only one month commitment, includes unlimited classes + unlimited access to our gym.
Gym-Only membership is also available at £29 per month, with only one month commitment, which includes unlimited access to our gym.
Payment is by monthly direct debit.
Classes are also available on a pay-as-you-go basis, at £6.50 or £60 for a 10 class package.
A FREE gym induction and completion of health screening is included and essential upon joining. An individual programme can be arranged for you with a 45 minute appointment at £15.
